First of all, we would like to thank Maybank for the rare opportunity to choose our brand new, sparkling event space at Star Boulevard at KLCC for a full week to host the Global Finals for this year’s Go Ahead. Challenge!

The Maybank Go Ahead. Challenge is an annual competition that is designed to push participants to their very limit. The Challenge accepts participants from all around the world and is meant for students from any discipline or fresh graduates in any field with one to three years of working experience.

Since its inception, the Challenge has been ongoing since 2012 and has impacted over 1.2 million lives with participants from over 20 countries and 130 different nationalities!

How Maybank Utilized Our Event Space

There was minimal set-up involved throughout the event, which was around one week. Instead, Maybank utilised the facilities present at our Star Boulevard space such as meeting rooms, private offices and event space hall to conduct their challenges.

These challenges include teams conducting virtual company product launches, pitching sessions and presentation of products. They also were roleplaying as CEOs, undergoing evaluations applying for jobs and attending interviews.

In total, roughly 90 people were present throughout the event.

A Surprise with Inside Scoop At Our Event Space

We have brought in confectionary company Inside Scoop to provide sweet, refreshing ice creams to all the participants and judges from Maybank. A token of our appreciation for supporting us in our latest Star Boulevard space launch.
