PART-TIME EVENT COORDINATOR (SETIA ALAM)

At Colony, we create first-class experiences through exceptional hospitality, thoughtfully designed spaces, and seamless event execution. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Event Coordinator to support our events team at Colony @ Setia Alam.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provide event day support, including event setup and teardown.
  2. Assist in preparing event spaces according to client and operational requirements.
  3. Welcome, assist and coordinate guests, vendors and event partners throughout the event.
  4. Work closely with Community and Event Managers to ensure events run smoothly.
  5. Support the execution of corporate, social and lifestyle events hosted at Colony.
  6. Monitor event flow and assist with operational requirements during event hours.
  7. Ensure event spaces remain clean, organised and presentable throughout the event.
  8. Provide general administrative and operational support related to events when required.
  9. Uphold Colony's hospitality standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  3. Able to commute to Colony @ Setia Alam.
  4. A collaborative team player who works well with others.

MARKETING INTERN (SOCIAL CONTENT & CREATOR COLLAB)
Marketing Intern (Social Content & Creator Collab)
Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid) | Internship | 3–6 months

If you already create content — and love it — keep reading.
We’re looking for a creative, curious, and social-first intern to join the marketing team at Colony Coworking Space & Events and Jerry Coworking Space.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Plan, shoot, edit and publish social-first content across Instagram & TikTok (Reels/TikToks).
  2. Support ongoing campaigns for both Colony and Jerry with fresh, platform-optimised visuals.
  3. Stay on top of trends and quickly turn ideas into content (hooks, formats, sounds, edits).
  4. Work closely with our in-house Content Specialist using Canva, CapCut and similar tools.
  5. Capture photos and videos during events, shoots, and KOL/creator visits.
  6. Write clear, witty captions that reflect each brand’s voice (local, human, non-cringe).
  7. Track content performance and suggest improvements based on results.
  8. Identify suitable KOLs/creators aligned to our brand audience and campaign needs.
  9. Coordinate space bookings and access for creator/KOL shoots.
  10. Work with Ops to ensure the space is guest-ready and shoots run smoothly.
  11. Engage with our community via comments, DMs, and interactions with relevant accounts.
Requirements
  1. Experience executing social content from idea → shoot → edit → final post (brand or personal projects).
  2. Own laptop + phone, with Canva, CapCut (or similar tools) installed and ready.
  3. TikTok/IG-native: understands formats, pacing, hooks, and what performs.
  4. Strong visual instincts (good lighting, clean framing, eye for aesthetics).
  5. Writing skills: short, punchy captions that feel local and human.
  6. Organised and reliable: able to track schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
  7. Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI editing tools) to improve workflow and efficiency.
  8. Good communicator — comfortable dealing with creators/KOLs and guests politely.
  9. Proactive: brings ideas, not “just asking what to do”.
  10. Curious and observant: scrolls with purpose and studies what works.
Bonus points if you:
  1. Have shot interiors, events, or people.
  2. Understand basic analytics (views, retention, saves, CTR, engagement, etc.).
  3. Have experience working directly with creators or brands.

Salary

RM1000 per month.

OPERATIONS
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Plan and execute community events.
  2. Facilitating outstanding guest service.
  3. Resolve guest issues with professionalism and patience.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with guest and service providers that further Colony’s credibility and good name.
  5. Serve as a primary resource in assisting guests within Colony; weather showing a guest to a meeting room, preparing their new office for move-in, troubleshooting basic technical issues, programming a phone, moving furniture to accommodate their office needs, providing a beverage or assisting with copies/administrative tasks.
SALES
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist the Account Managers with customising proposals for clients
  2. Prepare Event Order Agreements for any potential events
  3. Complete the sales handover process as soon as a deal is confirmed
  4. Liaise with other departments such as operations and finance to raise invoices and communicating important client or event details to the relevant teams
  5. Send confirmation emails to clients for confirmed events
  6. Meeting new clients and conducting physical tours in all Colony outlets (as and when needed)
  7. Gathering important client details during the tours and communicating them to the Account Managers
  8. Updating dashboards, pipelines and our event booking platforms
  9. Support the Sales Team in other administrative tasks
  10. Liaise with vendors for quotations and payments
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  2. Oral and written skills - English is preferred, Mandarin is a plus.
  3. Ability to write great emails.
  4. Good at math to calculate prices fast and accurately.
  5. Equipped with own laptop.
  6. Ability to travel to any Colony location (KLCC, KL Eco City, Mont Kiara, Setia Alam).
  7. Teamwork and the ability to work with a variety of people at all levels.
  8. Hands on experience with MS PowerPoint, Word and Google Sheets.
  9. Cooperative team player, easily gains trust and support of peers; encourages collaboration.
  10. Degree students in the Business-related field – Sales, Marketing, PR, Communications.
