FINANCE MANAGER

FINANCE MANAGER

Colony is currently looking for a Finance Manager. This full time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and will report directly to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Champion for Nexudus and Xero system
  2. To manage and develop a pipeline of new and repeat business to maximise workstation occupancy and event space bookings.
  3. Main PIC for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing and commentary.
  4. Forecast and budgeting for both internal and external users.
  5. Review monthly monitoring sheet for balance sheet item.
  6. Main PIC for external stakeholder coordination for finance-related matter (Auditors, Bankers, Vendors, Landlords, Customers).
  7. Monthly and quarterly company financial presentations.
  8. Monitoring and management of monthly aged receivable.
  9. Monitoring and management of cash position including placement of Fixed deposit.
  10. Review staff commission computation.
  11. Computation of monthly revenue report.
  12. Ad hoc project on finance related matter (system setup, project budgeting, bank creation).
  13. Review and manage company compliance matters (audit tax cosec).
  14. Allocation and planning for finance team every quarter.
  15. Performance review and appraisal for team member.

COMMUNITY MANAGER

COMMUNITY MANAGER

Colony is currently looking for Community Managers. This full time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and will report directly to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
    GUEST SERVICE/ADMINISTRATION
  1. Act as a key point of contact for guests and visitors providing a professional and friendly service as well as delivering an exceptional first impression.
  2. Serve as a primary resource in assisting guests within Colony; whether showing a guest to a meeting room, preparing their new office for move-in, troubleshooting basic technical issues, programming a phone, moving furniture to accommodate their office needs, providing a beverage or assisting with copies/administrative tasks.
  3. Provide a great environment for our guests by taking pride in continually keeping Colony “show ready” by ensuring the lounges, conference rooms, show offices and common areas are spotlessand prepared for our next guests at all times.
  4. The Community Manager becomes an extension of our guest’s team by delivering their mail, answering their phones, sending their packages, ordering their office supplies, booking their meeting rooms, preparing their meeting rooms and ensuring that they are able to concentrate on their work, while we manage their office needs.
  5. Serve as a resource for guests seeking information, assistance or recommendations; a thorough understanding of all key services, products and amenities are critical in the ability to deliver service in an exceptional and timely manner.
  6. Demonstrate a true passion for guest service by proactively seeking ways to surprise and delightour guests and guests, always going above and beyond.
  7. Coordinate events at Colony.
    SELLING SERVICES
  1. Contribute to the overall revenue of Colony by identifying opportunities and actively upselling/cross selling Colony’s products and services, and by assisting our Sales team with tours and site visits.
  2. Ensures that all daily service charges are captured and entered into the billing system on a daily basis.

REQUIREMENTS
    EXPERIENCE
  1. Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to remain flexible and calm in high pressure or continually changing situations.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both local language and English (written and oral).
  3. Professional communication skills with a high success rate in building and maintaining relationships.
  4. Solid organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and multi task in a demanding environment.
  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ability to operate basic office equipment.
  6. Minimum 1-2 years full-time working experience.
  7. Candidates with hospitality experience and background preferred.

MARKETING

    The marketing department of Colony Coworking Space acts as a creative hub of all Colony locations. We are involved in (quite literally) everything, which makes our projects very exciting. From creating new concepts and working with partners to come up with refreshing collaborations. From running social campaigns and producing EDMs to enhancing the guest experience at Colony.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. To develop a positive image and relationship between the brand and the public, vendors, suppliers, guests, clients and community
  2. To ensure that the brand’s image is professionally reflected in all communications to current and potential guests and the local community.
  3. Responsible for any opportunity to promote our brand in a proper luxury image according to the Colony Experience.
  4. Have a deep understanding of the brand’s vision and integrate this into your daily responsibilities.
  5. Involved in brainstorming and conceptualising new marketing initiatives.
  6. Work closely with all departments to organize promotional events and social events.
  7. Work closely with Sales and advertising agency on advertising campaigns.
  8. To develop and keep up to date all press kits and company decks.
  9. To create and develop the brand’s collaterals.

ADMIN
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Managing day-to-day operations in the office. General administrative task as when as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Proficient in English both written and spoken.
  2. Knowledge in Microsoft Office. Graphic Designing is an additional skill.

INSIDE SALES INTERN / ADMIN
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage Customer Services inquiries to report all feedbacks/comments.
  2. Track and manage room bookings.
  3. Provide relevant information for all bookings.
  4. Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and Head of Sales to assist in the development of sales strategies for Colony and Jerry.
  5. Support Sales teams in Scheduling Tours, Meetings, and Appointments.
  6. Support other projects as assigned by Inside Sales Manager and Head of Sales.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, SALES

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, SALES

The Key Account Manager, Sales (KAM) should be a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, the KAM will be responsible for meeting the company’s quarterly sales results within assigned locations and accounts. The KAM should also be incredibly personable and able to think strategically about connecting the resources in the greater community to the needs of the coworking space.

Duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute a strategic quarterly plan to achieve sales key results and deliver key metrics of conversion and price per workstation.
  • Manage and develop a pipeline of new and repeat business to maximise workstation occupancy and event space bookings.
  • Source, attract and close deals for anchor tenants (above 20 workstations) and Enterprise solution tenants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and corporate accounts to build a pipeline of direct lead generation and referrals.
  • Manage sales forecast and real-time sales reporting through the sales dashboard, and chair weekly sales meetings.
  • Realize the entire sales process, from qualification, site visits, negotiation, to closing deals.
  • Lead, manage, coach and lead performance management for the sales team, including regularly monthly check-ins.
  • Continuously revise the Sales Playbook – a manual of best practices, and efficient sales processes geared towards efficiency and ease of use.
  • Work with various stakeholders to drive Colony Guest satisfaction to ensure opportunities for additional business growth.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Colony’s offerings while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends.
