How much does it cost to rent an event space in KL at Colony?
Event space rental at Colony starts from RM3,000 for smaller venues such as The Sun Room and The Juniper Room. Larger venues, such as The Glass Box in Mont Kiara, start from RM17,000 unfurnished or RM21,800 furnished. Rates vary depending on the venue, date, duration and setup.
Do you provide event decorations, catering and other services?
Decorations and catering are not included in our standard venue rental rates. However, we work with trusted event partners who can assist with décor, catering and other arrangements to suit your event.
Can I view the event space before booking?
Absolutely! You can arrange a private viewing at your preferred Colony location. Contact us via WhatsApp at +60 17-471 7823 or email ask@colony.work to schedule a visit.
Are there any rules or restrictions for hosting an event?
Event guidelines may vary depending on the venue and your event requirements. Share your plans with our team, and we'll advise on any applicable restrictions or arrangements before you book.
Is a security deposit required for event space bookings?
Yes. A refundable security deposit of 15% of the total booking cost or RM1,000, whichever is higher, is required. The deposit will be refunded after your event, provided there are no damages or outstanding issues.
Will there be a Colony team member on-site during my event?
Yes. A dedicated Colony team member will be on-site throughout your event to assist with venue-related needs.
Is parking available at your event venues?
Parking is available at our venues, although complimentary parking is not provided. Parking rates and arrangements vary by building. Our team can advise on the available options at your preferred location.
What time can I host an event at Colony?
We offer flexible event timings, subject to venue and staff availability. Let us know your preferred schedule, and our team will help you explore the available options.
Can I reschedule my event after booking?
Yes, rescheduling requests can be accommodated subject to availability and booking terms. We recommend contacting our team as early as possible to discuss alternative dates.
Can I rent an event space for just 1–2 hours?
Our event spaces typically require a minimum booking of 4 hours, including setup and teardown time.
Can I extend my event beyond the booked hours?
Yes, subject to availability. Additional rental hours start from RM800 per hour, with rates varying by venue and location.
